Anyone can stock trout providing your facility has the following important criteria.
Water temperature below 22°C
Well circulated and oxygenated water
Any river, as long it is big enough and the temperature complies.
The property owner must be in possession of a valid release permit, easily obtainable by contacting your local nature conservation or Parks Board office.
Must fall within the proclaimed trout zones. Any water could effectively comply to the criteria.
